Mrs Pearl

Pearl grew up in the country on a lovely old farm that had been in her family for generations. As a little girl she spent the days running around the fields and playing with the animals. Her mother taught her how to bake, prepare meals and care for the animals, her father taught her to drive the tractor, plough the fields and sow the seed for crops.

She was a very hard worker but she loved what she did especially caring for the animals and baking. As she grew older her parents became sick with old age and eventually they passed away. She was an only child and at that time was still a single person who was left with a farm and a lot of farm land to care for. Try as she might she just couldn’t keep on top of all the jobs alone she needed help.

​

Eventually she met her husband, he seemed like a very caring and loving man it didn’t take long before she fell for him and they were married. But soon he showed his true colours, he wasted money gambling, on expensive cars on holidays they couldn't afford leaving them nearly bankrupt. Before she lost her family home for good she used up all the equity she had left in the land and divorced him.

Struggling to pay the bills to keep her home she was desperate for anything that could help. She took on a job as head cook to the STT mansion they paid good money and soon she was able to get back on track and even hire farm hands to help with the upkeep.

​

She always had a good heart but being cheated in love can change a person. She was very clever and knew how swindle people and not get caught, only ever doing it to those who she deemed could afford it, not even the person themselves knew what she had done. She even did some swindling with the guests in the mansion as they all had a lot of money.

​

She was getting greedy though and a little more daring, she needed quite a lot more finances to buy back the whole farm, not happy with doing it slowly she decided to try her luck and get it all in one go from someone she knew from the mansion.

​

Getting this invite to the STT Mansion dinner was the perfect opportunity, if she got the job she would have the finances needed, if she didn’t she would have all she needed for her biggest, most daring swindle yet. Will she get what she wants? Or Will she fail and be found out?
